AVG Antivirus-Protecting you from Viruses
Any antivirus (especially the free ones) is only as good as it's last update.
If a new or mutating version of a virus is not updated in the database - you have no protection against it
It's that simple!
That's because a lot of users prefer free AV programs which is why they haven't tried paid ones. They haven't experienced using Kaspersky or they switch back to the free ones to save money. BitDefender has a free version but it only offers basic protection. It's a teaser to get you to buy its paid version.
No one should say that the free versions is just as good as the paid versions. If so, then why would Avast, AVG, Avira, BitDefender still have paid versions?
as long as you keep updating AVG ... it should identify virusses like any other softwares ....... n you cant really say that avg is the best or kaspersky is the best .... its just personal opinion ......
